Hi,

I've used paid manic time for quite some time for a few projects. I tagged my docs for what client it was for or if was personal use. now it's time to send invoices. I wanted to send the client the export file at the app/doc level. The timesheet view will give the total hours for each tag... or tag view gives dates and time with that tag, but app view gives all apps / docs regardless of tag. I need to remove all the personal items and separate it out for each client. its not feasible to manually sift through the 10,000+ entry's to pull out whats what. I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Any idea's?

Thanks,

With autotags you could make a timesheet like
Project 1, Firefox 10hrs
Project 2, Firefox 11hrs
Project 3, IE 20 hrs
....

You could also make it for each title like
Project 1, Firefox - Gmail 5min
Project 2, Firefox - Gmail 3 min
Project 3, IE - cnn.com 20min
....

But it will still have a sum, not specific time like 10:34-10:35

Do your clients really want this?

To get a report similar to the above

Open timeline Editor, Add Autotag timeline
http://www.manictime.com...lient/24/timeline-editor

Click Ok, so you have 5 timelines on day view.

Now open Autotag editor
http://www.manictime.com...Client/44/autotag-editor

On the top right click import and choose one of the files I attached.

Click Ok.

Go to timesheet, in the timelines check only Autotag timeline and run reports. Is this better?

If you don't like it, go to autotag editor and import the second one, then again run timesheet.

Any better?
