Hi

Maybe this is very basic but I can't get it to work.

I need to find out how much time I've spend on a specific document.
Is there a way to do this without tags?
Can I search for the document title and have ManicTime calculate the time spend on that document?

Thanks,
Alex

To get document usage length you will either need to look on Documents timeline or Applications timeline.

Documents timeline tries to get the full path of the doc, if it is successful then click on Documents timeline to select it.
On the bottom in the filter write the name of your doc. If it finds it, then you can just check its group on the bottom right side, expand the Documents folder.

If it is not tracked on Documents timeline, click on Applications timeline and type the name of your doc. If it is in the title of the app it will find all instances of this. Then again on the right bottom side, the sum of the application in question should show you total time.
