Hello,
I've downloaded ManicTime pro for trial

The first day, I could see the app. detail, documents detail etc in time line
But the second day, it does not show

I just started new day by using a tag, and now it does not show details

How I can display application details, documents, etc?

I think I did something wrong?
Thanks

I guess my first question is, is it running? :)

Could you send me log files, Help -> Pack log files

If you reboot the computer, does it start tracking?

Hello, thanks a lot for quick response,

I think the problem might caused because I hibernated my laptop
So when I open it in the morning it might stop working, or at least it did not show details

A few minnutes ago I restarted my PC and now I can see all details like documents, applications, etc

I'm sending you the logs now,

thanks,
Eralper

Could you send me a screenshot of the timelines, so I can see when it worked and when it didn't

If you have the time, could you try hibernating it again, to see if this is consistent behavior?

When it comes back up and if it doesn't track, just open task manager and end both ManicTime.exe and ManicTimeClient.exe and start again.

Hello,
I've send two screenshots
sc1 belongs to yesterday, sc2 is for today.

Although Day started around 7:50 and shows a tag for this period, I can not see applications details

BTW, I'll try hibernating and will inform you soon

Thanks

Based on the logs our guess would be that it was off the record.
When it detects start of hibernation, tracker goes into off the record mode. Same thing as if you force manually (right click icon, go Off the record).
When it wakes it should go on the record, but it looks like it does not receive event it expects.

When it wakes from hibernation, check if it is in off the record mode. MT icon should be crossed, also if you open client you should see an indicator of this to the right of Day start.

Also could you do the following. Go to the folder with the database http://www.manictime.com/Support/Help/v15/1/where-is-data-stored. Find file ManicTime.xml. Open with notepad. Find this line

<TrackerLogEnabled>false</TrackerLogEnabled>

Change it to true so it reads
<TrackerLogEnabled>true</TrackerLogEnabled>

This will create one more log in the logs folder - Tracker.log (where the database is, subfolder logs), it will contain all the stuff MT tracks.

When it crashes, would you send me a few entries around from the time you start hibernation.

Let me know if this is to technical and I'll try to explain it better.

Hello,
Thanks for your explanation, I'll keep these suggestions in my for the next time.

Actually I hibernated my PC for a short-time and the MT started without a problem and asked me how to tag this passed time.

But in the evening, the hibernate time was too long and battery was nearly diminished.
So I'll check it once more and take the actions you suggested.

By the way I liked your software very much, it is easy to use and gives detailed summary information to see what have I done today on my computer.

Great!

Thanks again for your support,
Eralper

Could you try this version. It has some more logging and a few changes which might help. If you have problems again, send me log the file.

Right click MT icon, choose Exit. Download file and install, it will upgrade over the current install.
