Still trying to ascertain if ManicTime really is the culprit, but disabling manicTime does solve the issue...
returning to the computer, the button configuration on my wacom pen no longer functions properly. Mouse input, pen draw / pressure / erase functionality, everything else is fine. Just the front button config is no longer set to middlemouseclick.

Any other reports on wacom usage?

I checked the email. There were a few reports of users who had problems, who also mentioned that they had a wacom tablet, but none of the conversations got anywhere.

Under General settings, uncheck Keep UI running when main window closes. This unloads the UI every time you close it. Does it help?

It seems to work!
Will continue to test. I just re-built my computer and the tablet settings in win7 are conflicting.

Just back from an unexpected time out (got a splinter in my eye).
Would like to install again, thought I'd go right for 2.2, but that wasn't available for download.

Also: the date here under release 2.2 is off (2011)

v2.2 is at the bottom of the Download page.

Thanks for the date notification, will be fixed.

The pen issues are resolved with your tip.
Unrelated to ManicTime, turning the rightclick wait option (I hate this windows shit) was the next issue confusing me as to whether it was working or not.

Thanks!
