is there a way to change the range, or have it auto-scale to the values shown?

I see that it does seem to autoscale based on the contents, but the zoom seems capped at a range of 1.0. I am looking for some small values (to help me clean up). Would be helpful for finding stragglers if the scale could be manually adjusted.
