I would like to filter out particular tags when viewing non-tag timelines. e.g., while looking at Applications timeline, be able to filter out items tagged with "personal", etc. Same should be able to be performed in Documents timeline. All I can find is -group=<> which only applies to groupings defined within the current timeline, not across them.

There is currently no way to do this.
Best you can do, is use the selection type buttons (three buttons to the right of Add tag button), click on Show only untagged activities. It will show you only untagged activities, but you can't limit it to just some tags.

Yeah, the existing activities may already be tagged with some other tag besides "personal", so that won't do the trick.

This kind of thing would be a big help to getting an quick and dirty view of activity, in lieu of, or in the service of more complete tagging.

can you move this thread to the "feature requests" forum, or do I need to do that, myself?
