Text cursor in other programs buggy when ManicTime is running

When Manictime is running, my text cursor in other programs gets buggy. For example now it is leaving some kind of temporary "pixel dirt" on the last letter while I'm typing this. In the search box of google.com it doesn't flash. Once it even became completely invisible in thunderbird.
I never had this problem before and it stops as soon as I exit ManicTime. Any ideas?

In settings -> general, make sure you have Keep UI running after main window closes unchecked.
This will unload the client when you close it, and load it again when you click on the icon.
With this setting, if you close the client does the problem go away?

That was it. With the option "Keep UI running" disabled the problem goes away after restarting Firefox. Thanks for the quick solution.

Try updating your display drivers. Its almost certainly something with drivers or display configuration.
