I tried using the Outlook timeline to pull in my caledar, but this seems to only read from a/the PST file or something. My calendar is on Exchange server. Can you make a connector that works with that, or explain how to configure the existing one correctly?

It only imports it from a local Outlook installation. We could add this, the problem is mostly that we don't have an exchange server and so no way to test it.
I'll take a look if there is any public Exchange server where we could test it.

even connected to exchange (or IMAP), outlook keeps a local cache. I don't know if it's exactly the same as a .PST, but if so, perhaps the existing connector could be parameterized to allow specification of where to "look", and that could serve at a stopgap?

was this ever pursued, either connecting directly to exchange, or just being able to specify the local cache .pst file?
