Not having to re-enter license

Every time an update is installed, I have to manually re-enter the license information.
Such a bother, even with [Ctrl]-C [Ctrl]-V.
Can't the installer just find the license information from the prior installation and re-apply this automatically?

It should keep license information. This happens on default installed version?

Yep, it happens on a regular install.
Mind you, mine is a Win7-64bit PC.
Maybe that'd make a difference.
