Hi

I love the new away timer... but most of the time, it pops up and shows (for example) 6 seconds, when I was away for an hour and a half (or 3 hours or 12 minues... whatever).

I'm wondering if it's only counting the time it took to put in my password, perhaps?

I'm using Windows 7 and Manictime 1.3.01

I want to pay for it to keep access to this feature, but it'd be nice if it were working as expected :)

Cheers, Glenn

Could you open a day where this happened, click on the Computer usage timeline so Active, Away ... statuses are displayed below in the listview and send me a screenshot?

(Sorry - topic was supposed to be "Away Timer doesn't COUNT full time away")

Yes, I can do that... and I think you've led us to the answer! I see many instances where there is a long period of away time, followed by a short period of "Session Locked".

You can probably guess this is because I have my screen saver set to "On resume, display login screen" (for security purposes).

... perhaps manictime should simply combine the Away + Session Locked to accurately set the duration of away time?

The attached file shows a 30 second "session locked" period, but there were plenty of others at 6 or 7 seconds etc.

Cheers, Glenn

Thanks for the screenshot, I thought this might be the problem. We will try to fix this in the next update.

I see this is marked resolved. Does that mean it was fixed? I am having the same issue except the sesssion lock overlaps on the away time and i get a double timeline. Let me know

Looks like a different bug.

How do you lock the computer? CTRL-ALT-DEL > Lock? How is away tracking configured? You will find it under Settings -> Tracking, do you use screen saver or idle time for Away tracking?
