The portable version works mostly fine except that it doesn't track Chrome in the document section. I have tried installing ManicTime, but the "Next" button is grayed out. I have .net 4.0 , so I am confused as to what the problem is. Edited by user Friday, August 23, 2013 5:46:43 AM(UTC)

If you have a newer version of chrome (beta or some other non stable channel) then the current version of MT wont work. Links below are to a newer version which should work, let me know if you still have Chrome problems. Hrm. The download you provided is not the same one as the one on the download page. The one on the download page is 6.49 MB, while the one you provided is 6.87 MB. Nonetheless, I still got the error. After letting it run for a couple minutes, I force quit it. The attached file is a .log, but I had to rename it to allow the upload. Edited by user Friday, August 23, 2013 9:22:28 AM(UTC)

Here is the new 2.5 version, Chrome should work. http://cdn.manictime.com...2_5_0_1/ManicTimeUsb.zipNothing strange in the logs. The only thing I can suggest is to clean your temp folder. Maybe it is full.
