Excel Document capture plugin missing activity

The plugin is failing to capture Document timeline activity in cases where it works immediately before and after for the same document.
e.g.
It will succeed or fail for corresponding entries in the Application timeline that say:
Microsoft Excel - OSYS_BBFT config.xlsx 17:36:28 17:40:59 0:04:31
Any idea why it is being missed?

Does this happen randomly or is there a certain way you can reproduce it?

I don't know offhand, I'd have to go mine the data, and keep an eye out in the future. I just noticed it by accident, because I look for gaps in the documents timeline, now.

trying to address another support issue, I noticed a flag in the manictime.xml file of "tracker logging", which is disabled. Would enabling this logging offer anything useful to diagnose this issue?

No, I think it would be better if you just sent me your existing logs. There might be some errors regarding the Excel plugin.
