I would lie to suggest that the time starts counting immediately, i.e. even before I have specified the tags that it is supposed to time. I can see that some people may not like this because it means including the administrative work of time keeping in whatever task is being timed, so the solution might be to make this optional in the settings.

The reasons I want the timer to start immediately is that I often dont have the time to enter the tags when I start with a task so I would like to just hit ”Start” and add the tags later.

To take this ine step further: it would be nice to have a button that simmultaeously stops one timer and starts a new one. That would allow tagging without any gaps between the tags and would really increase the usability a lot!
