For some reason I am noticing that when I start the stopwatch, select the tags I want to use and enter text in the 'Notes' field that it doesnt always save the Notes data once the stopwatch has stopped?

When I test it out for 10 secs it saves the Notes field and I can see the notes for the tags I use, but for items which are 10mins+ it doesnt save?

Any ideas or logs I can check on?

I completely forgot to reply, sorry about that. I tried to replicate what you are describing but was not successful.
You mentioned that when stopwatch is running over 10m, notes are not saved. Is this always true?
Which version are you using (bottom right corner)?

Actually it is not always true. I just tried now for 4mins with notes and it didnt save. I was using 2.0.2 then just upgraded to 2.0.3 but still has the same effect.

Anything on the database side that might be causing it? I just copied data in from a backup.

If not I'll try a re-install and see if that works.

EDIT:
In addition if I go and edit a tag and click on 'Old Notes', it doesnt list the notes that I originally added when I run the stopwatch - not sure if that helps?

Could it be that it is not saved because of the contents of the note?
Try this. Create one of those not saving activities. Then use the same note as you did when it failed. Does it fail again?

Could you describe how you start and stop stopwatch. Is it always through the main window -> start stopwatch?

About current note not showing up in Old notes. Old notes loads list from the database. Stopwatch only saves to the database once you stop it, so while you are editing it, it is not yet saved so it doesn't show up.

By 'not saving activities', do you mean using the stopwatch and not add any notes? The content of the notes I just type in as plain text without any tags - I haven't copied and pasted data from an external source (like a word doc) before?

I think I may have found the problem, could it be Alt-Enter from Notes field?

Great find! Yes it looks to be the reason why. Thanks. Will actually click the button instead of Alt-Enter - maybe something to implement in a future release?
