Hi,

I am using a freeware version of ManicTime and while playing around with the features, have chosen the "Lock" option by mistake.

Can someone please help me with the default password for unlocking?

Thanking you in advance!

Regards,
Sayali

You can set lock in the settings, it will not let you pass without a password. So there is no default password.
How did you enable the lock option?

I right clicked on the systray icon and chose the "Lock" option.
I am sure that I did not set any password in the settings pane earlier
Is there any way I can unlock or should I reinstall?

In the first few versions there was a default pass 'ombolo' (this was over a year ago)

You can also find config file
c:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Finkit\ManicTime\

Exit MT, open up ManicTime.xml and delete line
<Password>randomchars</Password>

Does this help?

The password tag was not available in the XML file.
Instead I used the repair utility and repaired the setup. That way all my data is intact and it's unlocked as well.
Thanks for the quick response!
