I'd be interested in a Windows 8 RT version of ManicTime.
Any chance for this?

I believe you can't write desktop apps for WinRT, only the ones MS ships run in the desktop.
So that leaves us with Metro app, where we can create just a UI, but not the tracker since the apps are suspended once you exit them...

Hadn't considered that. Pity.
I still think that MT on W8 RT would make sense.
Have you considered checking with MS about the possibilities, or would it be too much on your plate at any rate?

You can check out your RT. I think that you wont be able to install anything other than Metro apps via Windows store. So no other desktop app than the ones MS shipped with RT. Let me know if this is not correct.
The metro apps are suspended when they are not in focus, so we can't use it for tracking.
